Had a great launch at the Hobart Bookshop on 17 August. The wonderful Vickie Morton from the South Hobart Football Club mc-ed the event - and looked terrific in a leeuwinnen oranje top - while longtime Tasmanian football identity and recent inductee into the Football Australia Hall of Fame, Walter Pless, did the hometown launch for me.
Walter was wonderful, running through the many Dutch-heritage players he's seen playing over the years in Tasmania and nailing Clogball's migrant angle perfectly.
Many thanks to both, and all those who attended, including Tasmanian state representatives, Roger Mies and Liz Elliot. Both feature in the pages of Clogball.
Also, thanks to Bronwyn and the staff at Hobart Bookshop - they made everything so easy. A great bookshop!
