Fresh from presenting at the Ringwood City Soccer Club 70th Anniversary dinner in June, I’m heading to Canberra to give a presentation on the Dutch and soccer in Australia at the Australian Society of Sports History (ASSH) Conference on 10 July at the Eastlakes Football Club.
Then it’s on to Sydney for the 2023 Football Writers Festival where I’m part of the Monday Book Club line-up on 17 July in a session chaired by Clogball publisher, Dr. Ian Syson, alongside authors Professor John Maynard and Jason Goldsmith. It’s a busy though exciting month, and I’m looking forward to catching up with so many people who have helped me put this terrific Dutch-Aussie story together.
And of course, there’s the Women’s World Cup being played here and in New Zealand – how good is that?! Go Matildas! Hup Oranje Leeuwinnen!
